SILBERSTEIG – Hiking through Bodenmais’ history

The Silbersteig is a historic circular hiking trail with a length of 11,5 km and a walking time of approximately 4,5 hours. It begins at the "Old Town Hall" on Bergknappenstraße (special exhibition on mining and vitriol oil) and leads via the "Vitriol Oil Hut" excavation site to the Silberberg (mine tour available), before returning to the starting point.
