Ski-Aplin in Bodenmais and surroundings

The Ski Area The Grosser Arber is not only the “highest” in the Bavarian Forest because of its altitude. The Grosser Arber is a snow-sure ski area for all winter sports fans. It is truly a Mecca for skiers and snowboarders who are not necessarily looking for fun in the high alpine mountains.

The Silberberg, Bodenmais' local mountain, is about 955 m high. It is about 5 minutes by car from the Hotel Bergknappenhof.
