The St. Englmar toboggan and leisure park has been awarded top marks by FamilyCheck as a day trip destination and by URLUB.INFO as a top holiday destination in 2015. Here you can ride the longest summer toboggan run in the Bavarian Forest, the Bayerwald Coaster, a track that descends approximately 1000 meters and covers a vertical drop of about 60 meters. The ride includes a loop, numerous banked curves, and jumps, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h. The Bayerwald Bob, a so-called "tub track," covers roughly the same distance. A special treat for all ages, especially on hot days, is the water slide. Here you slide down a large rubber tube on a water-filled tarp with an approximately 18% incline, yet you'll hardly get wet. Be sure to climb the 20-meter-high observation tower for an unforgettable view, while your children can try out the three free mega slides. A wave tube slide, a 10-meter-high free-fall tube slide, and a 60-meter-long spiral tube slide. Since 2016, Egidi Buckel has been home to Bavaria's longest roller coaster, called "da voglwuide Sepp" (up to 60 km/h). Drops, gorges, and numerous loops partially overlap the two toboggan runs, Bob and Coaster.
