In the slide you can reach a speed of around 615 km/h on the 40 m long track. 100 m difference in altitude, 17% gradient and 13 steep curves will make every heart beat faster, but safety is ensured because the brake levers are easy to operate. There are twelve different routes for beginners to professionals, so everyone gets their money's worth. But the 1097 m high Mountain in the Bavarian Forest also offers ski slopes for skiers and snowboarders in winter. Anyone who is active all day needs a little snack in between. Here you can choose between the Geißkopfhütte, the Forstgasthof or the Landshuter Haus. These restaurants are easy to reach on your hikes, bike, cross-country or ski tours. In winter there is even a warm house for children, where your little ones can get a warm drink and go to the toilet in comfort. In winter you will also find a kiosk on the north slope where you can regain your strength with a wonderful view.
