But this 1097-meter-high mountain in the Bavarian Forest also offers ski runs for skiers and snowboarders in winter. Those who spend the whole day being active will need a snack. Here you have the choice between the Geißkopfhütte , the Forstgasthof, or the Landshuter Haus. These restaurants are easily accessible during your hikes, bike rides, cross-country skiing, or ski tours. In winter, there's even a heated hut for children, where your little ones can get a warm drink and use the restroom. You'll also find a kiosk on the north-facing slope in winter, where you can recharge while enjoying the magnificent view.
