The Großer Arber in the Bavarian Forest

Then drive to the valley station in Bayerisch Eisenstein, which takes around 21 minutes. From there you can start with a short hike or you can even reach the summit completely barrier-free, with the panoramic passenger elevator or the 6-person gondola. The king of the Bavarian Forest has a lot to offer not only in summer, but also in winter.

In addition to many downhill runs for alpine skiers, there are many toboggan runs and cross-country ski trails, for example at Bretterschachten. From many places you have an unforgettable view of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest.
